Sub: Exemption from passing the Type Test on alternative appointment for medically de-categorised employees in the post of ministerial categories.
Attention is drawn to Board’s letter dated 09.12.2022 (RBE No. 161/2022) wherein medically de-categorised staff who are given alternative appointment in clerical categories, have been exempted from the requirement of passing the type test as a necessary condition for drawing further increment(s).
2. On the demand of the Staff Side, the matter has been re-examined. It has been decided by the competent authority that the requirement of passing the type test for decategorised serving employees for all purposes may be dispensed with.
