Sub: Revision of rates of Allowances with DA rates increased to 50%.
This HQrs is in receipt of Government of India, Ministry of Finance, Department of Expenditure ID No. 2/5/2017-E.1I(B) dated 20.03.2024 on.thé above subject. The DoE has | clarified that the position’ is very clear in the respective OMs and no separate order will be issued in the matter.
2. Therefore, it is requested to take action for revision of rates of such allowances, in accordance with the enhanced rate of DA at the rate of 50% effective from 01.01.2024.

Whenever the Dearness Allowance is increased, it is allowed for the working staff only, but deprived of to the retired personnel. The retired staff also have to pay the rent for the house they live in, have to pay for their feed in the public market in the cost as of to the public, have to incur all the expenditures as of the working personnel. The Government may consider the hardship of the retirees endure and may consider the sanction of Dearness Allowance, atleast 50% of what the working personnel get.
