Periodical health check-up for pensioners in 6 months or on annual basis – Action Taken Report on the unresolved agenda items of 32nd SCOVA meeting

Action Taken Report on the unresolved agenda items of 32nd SCOVA meeting, were taken up for discussion in 33rd SCOVA meeting held under the Chairmanship of Hon’ ble MOS(PP) on 22.02.2024, at Vigyan Bhawan, New Delhi, which are as follows:
(ii) Periodical health check-up for pensioners may be conducted at least once in 6 months or on annual basis.
Pensioners’ Associations suggested that a periodical health check-up for pensioners may be conducted at least once 1n 6 months or one year.
Discussion/Decision on agenda item
Representatives of Ministry of Health & Family Welfare informed that pensioner desirous of medical check-up can seek referral from CGHS WC may undergo the same at any empanelled hospitals under CGHS.
Further, revised guidelines for constitution of Local Advisory Committees(LACs) and Constitution of Zonal Advisory Committees (ZACs) have been issued. If any beneficiary has issues in this regard they can raise the points through LACs at field level.
In view of the above, the item was closed.
