Operationalisation of 2nd CGHS Wellness Centre with posting of full sanctioned medical staff – Action Taken Report on the unresolved agenda items of 32nd SCOVA meeting

Action Taken Report on the unresolved agenda items of 32nd SCOVA meeting, were taken up for discussion in 33rd SCOVA meeting held under the Chairmanship of Hon’ ble MOS(PP) on 22.02.2024, at Vigyan Bhawan, New Delhi, which are as follows:
Previous: (ii) Periodical health check-up for pensioners may be conducted at least once in 6 months or on annual basis.
(iii) Operationalisation of 2nd CGHS Wellness Centre with posting of full sanctioned medical staff.
Central Government Pensioners’ Welfare Association, Jammu informed that there is Shortage of paramedic staff that is holding up the functioning of 2nd CGHS WC. It was further informed that CGHS has hired an accommodation location at Trikuta Nagar, Jammu, however, CGHS has not made functional.
Discussion/Decision taken in the meeting
Additional Director (CGHS), Chandigarh informed that 2nd CGHS Wellness Centre would be made operational by 15th March, 2024.
The Chairman, SCOVA directed Ministry of Health & Family Welfare that CGWPA, Jammu may also be invited during the inauguration of the 2nd CGHS Wellness Centre at Jammu.
