ESIC Recruitment 2026: Engagement of IT Consultant (Finance & ERP) on Contract Basis

The Employees’ State Insurance Corporation (ESIC), under the Ministry of Labour & Employment, Government of India, has invited applications for engagement of one IT Consultant on contract basis for handling Finance-related IT functions and implementation of Panchdeep 2.0 (ERP).

🔹 Eligibility Criteria

✔ Age Limit

• Not exceeding 63 years as on 23.03.2026.

✔ Who Can Apply?

• Retired Government Officers/Officials from Central/State Government or Autonomous Bodies.
• Should have retired at Director / Deputy Secretary level or equivalent and above.

✔ Educational Qualification

• Degree in Engineering / Technology / Computer Science or equivalent from a recognized institution.

✔ Experience Required

• Minimum 20 years of experience in design, development and management of large-scale Government IT systems.
• Experience in Finance Modules, Core Accounting, Budget, Banking, Fund Management, Pension, Audit & Compliance.
• Experience in PFMS, Government ERP/IFMS, banking integration, treasury or accounting systems.
• Working experience with Government Ministries/Departments or large public sector organizations.
• Knowledge of Government financial rules, DBT, payment and receipt systems.

Preference will be given to candidates with experience in NIC or large ERP implementations.

🔹 Remuneration

Monthly consolidated remuneration ranges between ₹30,000 to ₹75,000, depending on the last pay level at the time of retirement, along with admissible conveyance allowance as per rules.

The total remuneration plus pension shall not exceed the last pay drawn.

🔹 Tenure & Conditions

• Initial engagement will be for one year, extendable based on performance and requirement.
• The engagement is purely temporary and on full-time basis.
• Consultant will report to the Finance Division.
• ESIC may terminate the engagement with 15 days’ notice.
