The Department of Pension & Pensioners’ Welfare (DoPPW), Government of India, has invited applications from retired Central Government employees for engagement as Consultants on a monthly contract basis.

Eligibility

• Retired officers of Level-11 or Level-12 from:
  • Central Government Ministries/Departments
  • PSUs / Public Sector Banks
  • CAPFs under MHA
• Preferably 3 years’ experience in pension matters, administration, personnel, IT systems, websites or portals
• Age limit: Below 63 years as on 31 December 2025

Remuneration

• Based on last pay drawn minus pension, plus admissible Transport Allowance
• No DA or HRA payable
• Remuneration will remain fixed during the contract period

Working Conditions

• Normal office hours: 9:00 AM to 5:30 PM
• Leave: 1.5 days per month
• Engagement is on hire-and-fire basis, linked to performance
