Central Civil Services (Classification Control and Appeal) Amendment Rules, 2024 regarding DRDO Appointing Authority and Disciplinary Authority: Notification dated 29.05.2024

NOTIFICATION

New Delhi, the 29th May, 2024

G.S.R.. 337(E).—In exercise of the powers conferred by the proviso to article 309 of the Constitution, the President hereby makes the following rules further to amend the Central Civil Services (Classification, Control and Appeal) Rules, 1965, namely:-

1. (1) These rules may be called the Central Civil Services (Classification Control and Appeal) Amendment Rules, 2024.

(2) They shall come into force on the date of their publication in the Official Gazette.

2. In the Central Civil Services (Classification, Control and Appeal) Rules, 1965, in the Schedule, in PART-V,- (i) against serial number 1, in column (2), in paragraph (B), for sub-paragraph (xiv), and the corresponding entries relating thereto in column (3), (4) and (5), the following entries shall be substituted, namely:-

(ii) against serial number 2, in column (2), in paragraph (B), for sub-paragraph (xiv) and the corresponding entries relating thereto in columns (3), (4) and (5), the following entries shall be substituted, namely:-

Note: The principal rules were published in the Gazette of India vide notification number S.O. 3703, dated the 20th November, 1965 and was last amended vide notification number G.S.R. 18(E) dated the 10th January, 2023 published in the Gazette of India dated the 10th January, 2023.
