Subject: NPS On-boarding through Online PRAN Generation Module (OPGM)

This has reference to Circular no. PFRDA/2020/9/SUP-CRN2 dated 13.04.2020, Circular no. PFRDA/2020/11 /SUP-CRA/4 dated 20.04.2020, Circular no PFRDA/2020/29/SUP-CRA/12 dated 30.06.2020 and the last Circular no. PFRDA/2020/43/SUP-CRA/16 dated 01.10.2020 on the captioned subject whereby the timelines of OPGM without photo and signature was extended upto 31st Dec 2020.

2. Based on requests received from various PoPs (Points of Presence), the above date is now being extended up to 31st March 2021.

3. The forms of such NPS accounts opened upto 31st March 2021 shall be procured by the PoPs (Points of Presence) as per extant instructions within next 30 days, the last date of such procurement being 30th April 2021. All stakeholders may note that there shall be no further extension of these dates. Further, fresh contributions shall continue to be made into such accounts till 31st March 2021.

4. This Circular is issued under Sec 14 of Pension Fund Regulatory and Development Authority Act 2013 and is placed in the CRA section of intermediaries and also under the Circular sub section of Regulatory Framework section of PFRDA website.
