7th Pay Commission recommends higher grade pay of GP 4600 for Inspectors (Posts). ASPOs will be placed in GP 4800 and Superintendent (Posts) will be moved up to GP 5400 (PB-2).
7th CPC recommends higher grade pay for Sheep Shearer cum Supervisors (GP 2400) Since jump from the level of Shepherd in the GP 1800 to Sheep Shearer cum Supervisor in the GP 2400 takes 12 years
7th CPC recommends that Russian Translation Officers should be upgraded from the existing GP 4600 to GP 5400 (PB-3). Similarly, Russian Senior Translation officers should be upgraded from existing GP 5400 (PB-3) to GP 6600 and Russian Editors from existing GP 6600 to GP 7600.
7th CPC recommends replacement pay scales for Pharmacists, higher grade pay of GP 4600 for Dietitians, GP 4800 for Senior Dietitian and GP 5400 for Assistant Dietetic Officer
7th CPC recommends replacement pay scales in Radiographers of Railways and Defence Establishments. In case of Radiographers of Andaman and Nicobar Administration the Commission recommends that the post of Junior Radiographer be merged with Radiographers and placed in GP 2800.
Seventh Pay Commission report says that there are 51.96 lakh of Central Government Pensioners. Of the total 51.96 lakh pensioners as on 01.01.2014, 11.83 lakh viz., 23 percent were family pensioners.
7th CPC reports that there 51.96 lakhs pensioners. In which 37 percent are in the 60-70 age group, about 26 percent each are in the 70-80 and ‘Others’ age group. The balance 11 percent are in the 80 plus category and thus entitled to enhanced pension based on advancing age.
All India Railwaymen’s Federation (AIRF) submitted a Memorandum to the Railway Board expressing concern over Major retrograde recommendations of the VII CPC and requests that its concerns are to be settled before implementation.
7th Pay Commission has recommended that the benefit of MACP should be extended to the Defence Security Corps (DSC) as Ex-Defence Forces Personnel re-enrolled into DSC are treated as a fresh intake for pay and allowances and do not carry forward the financial and other benefits availed in the former service.
No Annual Increment in the case of those employees who are not able to meet the benchmark either for MACP or a regular promotion within the first 20 years of their service. However, since this is not a penalty, the norms for penal action in disciplinary cases involving withholding increments will not be applicable in such cases.
7th Pay Commission recommended that existing PRIS Scheme to continue and and that it is not in favour of increasing the incentive percentage. The Commission is also not in favour of extending PRIS (I) to non-scientific staff.
7th Pay Commission has recommended to DoPT that here should not any delays in holding the DPC meeting and application of the scheme is done in a uniform, even handed manner with no selective relaxation
