CGHS Shillong Invites Applications from Retired Employees for JHAA/LDC & Pharmacist Posts

The Central Government Health Scheme (CGHS), Shillong has issued a notification inviting applications from retired Central/State Government, PSU and Autonomous Body employees for engagement on a contract basis. The openings are for Junior Health Administrative Assistant (JHAA)/LDC and Pharmacist (Allopathic).

According to the notification dated 11 December 2025, the engagement will be purely temporary for a period of 180 days.

Eligibility Highlights

Only retired officials from Central/State Government, PSUs, or Autonomous Bodies can apply.
Maximum age limit: 64 years as on the last date of application.
Engagement will follow consolidated remuneration as per DoE guidelines.

Important Conditions

Tenure will end on completion of 180 days or when a regular incumbent joins.
Selected candidates must produce all original documents during interview and verification.
Leave entitlement: 8 days per calendar year, on a pro-rata basis.
CGHS reserves the right to cancel or modify the advertisement at any stage.
