Chairman/Railway Recruitment Boards.
Sub:- Number of Railway Advocates in various Tribunals, Courts and other Statutory bodies.
The competent authority has approved the Following guidelines to be followed for the purpose of finalization of the number of empanelled advocates for RCTs, CATs and District & Sub- ordinate Courts, namely :-
(i) one advocate may be empanelled to handle approximately 25 cases: means in the ratio of 1:25:
(ii) five advocates may be kept in reserved panel for said judicial fora, whose Services shall be used when empanelled advocates are not available or overburdened or services not Satisfactory:
(iii) at least one advocate may be empanelled for every district & Sub-ordinate court where no case is pending.
2. No separate approval shall be communicated for the said purpose, the General Manager or the Head of office may decide the number of advocates at their own level as per the guidelines specified in the above para.
