Sub: Grant of Disability Pension/Element/Special Family Pension in case of death of ESM due to COVID-19-clarification thereon.
Ref: Gol, MoD, Dept. of Ex-Servicemen Welfare letter No. 2(3)/2022/D(Pen/Pol) dated 14.10.2022.
This office has circulated Gol, MoD letter no. 2(3)/2022/D(Pen/Pol) dated 16.08.2022 vide Circular no. 660 dated 14.09.2022.
2) Now, MoD has decided Gol, MoD letter no. 2(3)/2022/D(Pen/Pol) dated 16.08.2022 stands withdrawn as the matter requires further consultation in Government. In this connection, Gol, MoD letter no. 2(3)/2022/D(Pen/Pol) dated 14.10.2022 is annexed which is self explanatory.
3) Hence, this office Circular No. 660 dated 14.09.2022 has been cancelled in toto.
4) This circular along with Government of India, Ministry of Defence letter No. 2(3)/2022/D(Pen/Pol) dated 14.10.2022 is uploaded on our official website www.pcdapension.nic.in.
