Subject : Entitlement Rules for Casualty Pensionary Awards to the Armed Forces Personnel — 2023 and Guide to Medical Officers-2023 — reg.

Sir,

I am directed to say that the President is pleased to decide that with effect from 21st September, 2023 and in supersession of all previous orders/rules on the subject, the Entitlement Rules-2023 and Guide to Medical Officers-2023 set out in Appendix-I and Appendix-II respectively to this letter shall apply in cases of disablement or death of service personnel.

2. This issues with the concurrence of Ministry of Defence (Finance) vide their I.D Note No. 10(03)/2023/Fin/Pen dated 20.09.2023.
