Adhoc promotion of Section officers of CSS as Under Secretary

The Department of Personnel and Training (DOPT) has noted that due to ongoing litigation, the Select Lists of Under secretary for the year 2008  could not be brought out and that the DOPT is resorting to  promotion of  the Officers on ad hoc basis.  the DOPT intends to do another round of adhoc promotion to meet out the requirement of Under Secretaries.  All the concerned Ministries/Departments are required to send the details/completed APARs/Vigilance status   etc. in respect of Officers under their charge in the prescribed proforma.
