Charges for eye operations under CGHS

Will the Minister of HEALTH AND FAMILY WELFARE be pleased to satate :-
(a) whether Centre for Sight, a CGHS empanelled hospital, has made arrangements to charge the approved rates from CGHS beneficiaries;
(b) if not, the reasons therefor; and
(c) the details of the charges for eye operations to be charged by the Centre for Sight?
ANSWER
THE MINISTER OF HEALTH AND FAMILY WELFARE (SHRI GHULAM NABI AZAD)
(a) & (b): Centre for Sight is an empanelled private hospital under Central government Health Scheme (CGHS) for different eye procedures and as per terms and conditions of empanelment and Memorandum of Agreement (MOA) signed with CGHS, it is expected to charge as per the CGHS approved rates from CGHS beneficiaries.
(c): The CGHS rates to be charged by empanelled eye centres is placed at Annexure.
