895. SHRI DARSHAN SINGH YADAV:

Will the Minister of HEALTH AND FAMILY WELFARE be pleased to state:

(a) whether an approval has been accorded to set up a dispensary under Central Government Health Scheme (CGHS) at Sahibabad located in Ghaziabad district of Uttar Pradesh;

(b) if so, when this approval was accorded; and

(c) whether the sanctioned dispensary has been set up in Sahibabad?

ANSWER

THE MINISTER OF HEALTH AND FAMILY WELFARE

(a)    Yes.

(b) & (c) Approval was accorded in the year 2009. However, the dispensary could not be opened for want of suitable accommodation despite repeated efforts made in this regard. Meanwhile, CGHS has now hired a private accommodation to open a dispensary at Rajinder Nagar, Shahibad.
