Subject: Clarification regarding approval of TAVI /TAVR Implant procedure and IVL (Coronary Intra vascular Lithotripsy) / Shock wave Lithotripsy, under CGHS
With reference to the above subject attention is drawn to the Office memorandum No. Z15025/32/2023/DIR/CGHS dated 19th December 2023 vide which CGHS package rates have been defined for TAVI/TAVR and IVL (Coronary Intra vascular Lithotripsy) / Shock wave Lithotripsy and to clarify that approval of Director, CGHS in consultation with Special Technical Committee (STC) is required for the above procedures, till further orders, as the process of formulation of guidelines is under consideration.
The Additional Directors, CGHS are advised to bring the contents of this OM to the notice of all empanelled HCOs
