PROPOSAL OF GRANT OF ONE TIME PAYMENT OF Rs 15 LAKHS UNDER YUDH SAMMAN YOJANA – REG

1. Ref the fwg :-
(a) Our letter No 12681/Gen/T-1/MP5(b) dt 13 Sep 2022.
(b) MoD ID Note No 1 (1)/2020/D(Pen/Pol)/Vol-ll dt 29 May 2024 (copy att).

2. It is intimated that proposal for grant of one-time payment of Rs 15 lakh under “Yudh Samman Yojana” is under consideration with Dept of Ex Serviceman Welfare (DESW). DESW has sought addl data in r/o all personnel (or their spouses) (SSCOs/ECOs, Regular Commissioned Officers) who actively participated in 1965 and /or 1971 wars and awarded Samar Seva Star and/or Poorvi Star/Paschimi Star Medals. The data is required to be forwarded in the prescribed format annexed with this letter.

3. It is requested to forward data in r/o all personnel who fulfills the criteria mentioned at para 2 above, for onward submission to MoD/DESW.
