Holiday Home Accommodation in Darjeeling: New Operational Dates and Booking Guidelines

The Employee’s State Insurance Corporation (ESIC) is pleased to announce the extension of the operational period for its Holiday Home in Darjeeling. This popular retreat will remain available for booking from September 10, 2024, to August 31, 2025. Below, we provide essential details and guidelines to help you plan your stay at this serene location.

Booking Guidelines

1. Allotment Rules: Bookings are subject to the Rules, Regulations, and Rates specified in Headquarters Office Circular No. D-11/27/TOR/Policy/09/CT dated December 22, 2009.
2. Booking Procedure: Reservations are on a “First Come, First Serve” basis. Requests received more than 120 days before the desired check-in date will not be considered.
3. Confirmation: Once your booking request is confirmed via email, payment of the tariff must be made within 3 days to secure your reservation.
4. Cancellation Policy: To avoid charges, cancellations must be communicated at least 30 days in advance. Late cancellations may result in recovery of charges from the concerned official.
5. Application Process: All applications must be routed through the applicant’s Controlling Officer. Direct applications are not accepted except for retired ESIC personnel.
6. Occupancy Restrictions: Accommodation is strictly for the individuals named in the booking. Extra persons cannot be accommodated.
7. Stay Duration: The maximum stay period is 5 days. Check-in time is 1:00 PM, and check-out time is 12:00 Noon.
