Himachal Pradesh Employees and Pensioners to get additional DA
Statement Government Employees and Pensioners/Family Pensioners of Himachal Pradesh to get additional DA and DR respectively
Himachal Pradesh Government has enhanced Dearness Allowance from the existing rate of 65 percent to 72 percent with effect from 1st July, 2012 in respect of the employees of the State Government. A notification in this regard has been issued
The additional installment of Dearness Allowance of seven percent shall be paid in cash with the salary of October, 2012 payable on 1st November, 2012 and the arrears accrued from 1st July, 2012 to 30th September, 2012 shall be credited in the GPF Account of the employees with the salary of October, 2012 payable in November, 2012.
These orders will be applicable to the employees covered by H.P. Civil Services (Revised Pay) Rules, 2009, H.P. Civil Services (Category/Post wise Revised Pay) Rules, 2012 and work charged employees working in Government departments. These orders will also apply to members of All India Services Officers, H.P. Judicial Services Officers and State Government employees covered by UGC Pay Scales.
In another notification the State Government has also decided that dearness relief payable to Himachal Pradesh Government pensioners/ family pensioners shall be enhanced from existing rate of 65 percent to 72 percent w.e.f. 1st July, 2012.
The Dearness Relief on pension and family pension @ 72 percent will be paid with the pension/family pension for the month of October, 2012 payable in the month of November, 2012. The arrears accrued on account of dearness relief w.e.f. 1st July, 2012 to 30th September, 2012 shall be paid in cash in one installment in the month of November, 2012.
These orders shall apply to all H.P. Government Pensioners/Family Pensioners.
