11 Premier Programmes Announced Under Long Term Domestic Programme (LTDP) Scheme

The Department of Personnel and Training (DoPT), Government of India, has released a comprehensive consolidated circular listing eleven prestigious academic programmes to be conducted under the Long Term Domestic Programme (LTDP) Scheme for the financial year 2025-26.

This circular, dated 9th June 2025, is addressed to all Cadre Controlling and Sponsoring Authorities, urging them to circulate details widely and nominate eligible officers.

What is LTDP?

The Long Term Domestic Programme (LTDP) is a flagship initiative by DoPT to provide mid-career officers of the Central Government a chance to pursue high-quality management and policy-related academic courses at India’s leading institutes.

These courses aim to sharpen administrative, policy formulation, and leadership skills in line with global governance standards.
