Confederation urges FM to declare DA/DR, PLB and Ad-hoc Bonus without delay

Letter cites overdue DA/DR from July 1, 2025; seeks orders before Puja season
The Confederation of Central Government Employees & Workers has written to Finance Minister Nirmala Sitharaman pressing for immediate declaration of the Dearness Allowance/Dearness Relief (DA/DR) instalment due from 1 July 2025, along with Productivity Linked Bonus (PLB) and Ad-hoc Bonus. The federation notes that such announcements are usually made in the last week of September with three months’ arrears paid in the first week of October, and flags “severe discontent” among employees and pensioners over the delay.
In the 23 September 2025 letter, signed by Secretary General S.B. Yadav, the Confederation also points to the approaching Durga Puja period and asks the Ministry to issue DA/DR and bonus orders “timely.”
