One Rank One Pension already Finalised and involves Rs. 8000 crores says Defence Minister – Financial and Administrative Procedures will be followed before implementation of OROP
Mr. Parrikar Defence Minister told reporters at the sidelines of an international conference in Bhubaneswar that defence ministry has already finalised the OROP – One Rank One Pension scheme. However, certain financial and administrative procedures will be followed. The first positive thing is that it has been prepared properly. It involves an amount of about Rs. 8,000 crore.”
