Subject: Nationwide DLC Campaign 2.0 from 1st to 30th November, 2023 – Adoption of Saturation Approach
The Department of Pension & Pensioners’ Welfare is conducting a Nationwide Digital Life Certificate Campaign 2.0 at 500 locations in 100 Cities from 01.11.2023 to 30.11.2023 in close co-ordination with all stakeholders viz. Pension Disbursing Banks, CGDA, Railways, Department of Posts & Telegraphs, all registered Pensioners’ Welfare Associations (PWAs), UIDAI, MeitY, PIB, Doordarshan, etc.
2. While the performance of the Campaign during the last two weeks has been good with the help of all stakeholders, the number of DLCs generated so far are 33 lakhs against the target of 50 lacs DLCs for the entire Campaign period.
3. To ensure that DLCs are generated for the remaining pensioners to avoid any delay in pension, all stakeholders (Banks/ Pensioners’ Associations /CGDAJ DoT) are requested to adopt a Saturation Approach during the remaining 2 weeks and motivate every remaining pensioner for submission of DLC before 30.11.2023.
4. This issues with the approval of Secretary (Pension & Pensioners’ Welfare).
