Subject: Sale/distribution of National Flags as part of ‘Har Ghar Tiranga’ Campaign-Opening of post offices on holidays falling before Independence Day, 2022-reg.
This is in continuation to the MO Division’s letter no. 30-06/2022-D dated 1st August, 2022, regarding sales/distribution of National flags under “Har Ghar Tiranga” campaign through Post Offices.

2. In this context, it has been decided that all delivery post offices and other important post offices need to be made functional to the largest possible extent for supporting this public campaign. This includes the following:
a) facilitating the sale of National flags.
b) arrangement for delivering the flags as and when required.
3. In view of above, special arrangements may be made for functioning of at least one Counter and for making arrangements for delivery of the National flags in all delivery post offices and other important post offices on all the holidays falling before Independence Day, 2022 i.e. on 7th, 9th and 14th August, 2022.
4. This issues with approval of Competent Authority.
