Railway Board has clarified that the minimum qualification for Lab Assistant is “Matriculation with Science, plus Diploma in Medical Lab. Technology (DMLT)”. (i) The Course should have been completed in a recognised University, Institution or Board, approved by the Government (ii) The course should be of minimum 1 year duration and training followed by Exam.
Consequent to the DoPT OM on discontinuation of interview for Group C and D Posts Department of Public Enterprises has also issued OM in line with DoPT for the discontinuation of interview for non-executive level posts in CPSEs
DOPT clarifies that from 01.01.2016 there wouldn’t be any interview for the posts of Group ‘C’, and non-gazetted posts of Group ‘B’ Category in Central Government Service. Skill Test or Physical Test is different from Interview, and they may continue. However, these tests will only be of qualifying nature. Assessment will not be done on the basis of marks for such tests
