Pension Enquiry System for Pensioners of CGDA

The Defence Accounts Department has made elaborate arrangements for creation of Pension Enquiry System for the pensioners belonging to Controller General of Defence Accounts which will facilitate them to verify the Pension entitled to them and other information relating to Pension at 61 DPDOs across the country.

To accomplish this task two software have been developed, installed and made operational.

It is a pension enquiry system wherein pensioners can know their entitlement of pension by providing certain minimum basic information.

New facility for sending Monthly Statement of Pension from DPDOs has been launched.

In addition to the above facility Pensioners can provide the E-mail address and/or Mobile Number for receiving their Monthly Statement of Pension through E-mail and/or SMS.

  1. I am afraid CGDA needs to revisit their system of Functioning when Pensionary and Terminal benefits for Civilian Officers and Staff other than DAD guys . There had been inordinate delay One of my colleagues as Civilian Officer in MES retired on 31 May 2011 and is yet to get his Pension for none of his fault. This is not the case for DAD people. They get all their dues well on time. We are second class Pensioners as for as CGDA is concerned. My saving Portion of CGEIS remains pending for more than a month with a CDA and I don’t know when CDA Funds Meerut will get time to clear my GPFund dues . I got to know from my Record Office New Delhi that LAO Delhi will take up my Leave Encahment Claim only after 45 Days as they folow First In First Out policy..I am curious to know whether this is the same Yardstick for DAD Guys also.
