A permanent body for reviewing Pay and Allowances of Central Government Employees will facilitate regular examination of pay related issues so that constitution of pay commission once in ten years will not be necessary
As per figures of budget allocated for Central Government employees salary for the year 2015-16 and 2016-17, increase of 14.45% and 11.32% respectively in budget allocation are attributed to expected increase in pay as a result of implementation of 7th Pay Commission.
