DPIIT Extends Last Date for Deputation-Based Posts in Salt Commissioner’s Organisation

The Department for Promotion of Industry and Internal Trade (DPIIT), Ministry of Commerce & Industry, has extended the last date for receiving applications for several deputation-based vacancies under the Salt Commissioner’s Organisation (SCO). The updated deadline for submission is 19 December 2025.

The notification covers the following vacancies:

• Deputy Salt Commissioner – Pay Level-12
• Assistant Salt Commissioner – Pay Level-11
• Assistant Civil Engineer – Pay Level-7

These posts are to be filled on a deputation basis, including short-term contract, in various regional offices under the Salt Commissioner’s Organisation.
