Sub: Meeting with Cadre Controlling Authority to be held under the Chairmanship of the Cabinet Secretary on 21.05.2015
As a part of this Department’s endeavour to keep the personnel policies in tune with the changing time this Department had issued guidelines on cadre review from time-to-time.
2. The latest guidelines along with the Monograph on cadre review of Central Group ‘A’ services was issued in December 2010 and many services have since been reviewed. While processing the cadre review proposals this Department have come across many issues like high vacancies, stagnation and unplanned recruitment that deserve immediate attention of the cadre controlling authorities. It is also essential to obtain the feedback of the Cadre Controlling Authorities on the proposed changes in the procedure of cadre review and on the proposed changes in the attributes of Organised service.
3. The Cabinet Secretary would chair the meeting of the cadre controlling authorities of Central Group ‘A’ services on 21st May, 2015 at 3:30 P.M. in the Conference Hall (Room No. 119, 1st Floor, North Block, New Delhi). A copy of the agenda is enclosed.
4. All the Cadre Controlling Authorities (not below the rank of Joint Secretary and not exceeding more than one officer for each service ) are requested to attend the meeting. It is also requested that comments of the Cadre Controlling Authorities on the agenda items may be provided by 15th May 2015 on email id [email protected].
