OFFICE MEMORANDUM
Subject: Internship Programme on Implementation of Right to Information.
The undersigned is directed to refer to this Department’s O.M.dated the 4th September,2012(copy enclosed) wherein Ministries / Departments were requested to indicate their willingness to get an analysis of RTI applications received by them through the DOPT sponsored Internship Programme for undergraduates pursuing five year Integrated Course in Law for a period of one month in January,2013.
2. Response in this regard is awaited form most of the Ministries / Departments. It is again requested that the Ministries / Departments desirous of getting the abovementioned analysis are requested to allow interns sponsored by DOPT to analyse a sample of the RTI applications received in the last one year in the respective Ministries/Departments. The expenditure of the Internship Programme by way of conveyance allowance of the interns would be borne by DOPT. The response in this regard alongwith the details of Nodal Officer to coordinate with DOPT for this programme may please be intimated to undersigned latest by 5th November,2012.
