Income limits of Parents for SC / ST Student Scholarships
The income limits of the parents/Guardians of students belonging to Scheduled Castes (SC), from all sources, for scholarship schemes are as under:

The income limits of the parents/Guardians of students belonging to Scheduled Tribes (ST), from all sources, for scholarship schemes are as under:

All eligible SC/ST students are eligible to get scholarship under the Post-Matric Scholarship Scheme for the SC and ST Students. Non refundable fee of the institutions is inter-alia payable as a component of the scholarship.

Those parent have their income upto 2 lac,They are unable to survive of whole members in house.How they can spare money for higher education of their children,which is required minimum Rs one Lac per for his residence,clothing, Mobile and routine Expenses..If all fee have to added then all expenses will come more then Rs 2Lac.So It is only hypothetical only If parents have their 3 children Then more than 6 Lac required for their Education.If parents are available in their house then expenses will be 4Lac on these persons or required minimum family income Rs10 Lac to run the family and education of children.
So It is suggested that the Parents income should be 20Lac to provide opportunity for higher Education ie Engineering/Medical/Management etc.
