Will the Minister of RAILWAYS be pleased to state:
a) the number of posts for which recruitment examinations have been conducted by Railway Recruitment Boards (RRBs) in the last one decade;
b) the number of candidates appointed through these examinations;
c) whether it is a fact that many examinations conducted by RRBs have been cancelled due to various reasons;
d) the zone-wise details of such cancelled examinations during the last five years;
e) whether the RRBs have earned a huge sum of money from the candidates; and
f) the details of examination fee collected by RRBs from candidates in the last five years?

Only a nominal fee is taken from candidates and ₹ 400 out of nominal fee of ₹ 500 taken from male candidates belonging to Unreserved (UR) & Other Backward Classes (OBC) categories is refunded to those candidates who appear in the exam. In respect of other categories of candidates belonging to Scheduled Caste (SC)/ Scheduled Tribe (ST)/ Ex-Servicemen/ Persons with Disabilities, Women, Minorities and Economic Backward Classes, the whole amount of nominal fee of ₹ 250 is refunded to those who appear in exam.
