Sub: Provision of Satellite stations for collection of refund amount on surrendering of PRS original ticket cancelled through 139 or through IRCTC website
Ref: East Central Railway Letter No. ECR/CRM/RC/PRS ticket/22 dated 01.06.2022 In reference to ECR letter mentioned above, Ministry of Railways have decided to delegate the power to Principal Chief Commercial Managers of Zonal Railways to decide earmarking of nearby PRS locations as satellite PRS locations within the arena of 50 Kms from stations where either PRS counter or satellite PRS locations are not available at present, only for the purpose of collection of refund amount for the PRS counter tickets cancelled through 139 or through IRCTC website.
This disposes of ECR letter referred above.
