Sub: Permission for retention of railway accommodation at the previous place of posting — reg.
Ref: Railway Board’s letter of even number dated 01.7.2022.
In view of the requests/demands received from ECR, NER, ECoR, SECR, SWR, WCR, BLW and MCE, the Full Board in exercise of the powers vested in it to make reasonable relaxations in public interest for a class/group of employees in all or any of the provisions regarding house allotment/retention, have now decided that SAG & above level officers posted at NER, ECoR, SECR, SWR, WCR and all officers/staff posted at ECR, BLW & MCF may be permitted to retain railway accommodation at their previous place of posting upto 31.3.2024 subject to the conditions stipulated in the Board’s above referred letter dated 01.07.2022.
2. This issues with the concurrence of the Finance Directorate of the Ministry of Railways.
