Sub: Engagement of staff against posts of SSEs/JEs( Works) in Construction organization by engagement on contract basis.
Ref: Board’s letter No. E(NG)II/2020/RC-4/2(Pt.) dated 15.02.2022 and 21.02.2022.
In terms of Board’s letters of even number cited under reference, the scheme for engagement of staff as JTAs/Technical Supervisors against posts of SSEs/JEs (Works) on contract basis for targeted construction works in Construction Organizations and project work in open line was in operation till 19.11.2022.
2. Proposal from Railways for extension of this scheme has been considered in Board. It has been decided to extend the scheme for engagement of staff as JTAs/Technical Supervisors against posts of SSEs/JEs (Works) on contract basis for targeted construction works in Construction Organizations and project work in open line for a further period of one year beyond 19.11.2022 i.e. upto 19.11.2023 for a total 800 JTAs/Technical Supervisors with ceiling of 50 in each Zonal Railway, on existing terms/conditions and remuneration as per Board’s letter No.2018/Trans.Cell/S&T/Contractual Staff dated dated 20.11.2018 attached herewith as Annexure.
3. The above contractual engagement will be subject to stipulation that no retired employee will be engaged against this scheme.
