Sub:- De-recognition of Indian Body Builders Federation (IBBF)- regarding.
Ref: Ministry of Youth Affairs and Sports (MoYA&S)’s letter No.18-06/2024/SP-I, dated 26.06.2024.
Integral Coach Factory has approached Railway Board for clarification as to whether the certificate issued by Indian Body Builders Federation (IBBF) can be considered for recruitment purpose in Indian Railways.
2. Ministry of Youth Affairs & Sports (MoYA&S) was consulted in the matter and was requested to advise the current status of recognition of Indian Body Builders Federation (IBBF). MOYA&S vide their letter No. 18-06/2024/SP-I dated 26.06.2024 have informed that the recognition of the Indian Body Builders Federation (IBBF) has not been renewed after 31.12.2021 by MOYA&S and at present no Federation is recognized as National Federation for the sport of Bodybuilding.
3. In view of above, it has been decided that certificates of sports achievements issued for the events conducted by IBBF or its affiliated units after 31.12.2021, shall not be considered for recruitment, incentives and all other establishment matters till further orders.
