A copy of Department of Pension and Pensioners’ Welfare (DOP&PW)’s O.M. No. 1/23/2012-P&PW(E) dated 13th September, 2012 on the above subject is enclosed for information and compliance. These instructions shall apply mutatis mutandis on the Railways also. DOP&PW’s O.Ms dated 21.05.2009, 11.08.2009, 25.06.2010 and 28.09.2010, referred to in the enclosed O.M., were circulated on the Railways vide this office letters of even number dated 26.05.2009, 19.08.2009, 07.07.2010 and 11.10.2010 respectively.
