CBSE Students entitled to Scholarship required to update Aadhaar Details

CBSE has informed that the students who entitled to any scholarship will be required to update their Aadhaar Number for getting scholarship through banks.  Notice issued by CBSE is as follows

DEAR STUDENT

Students availing scholarship under the ‘Central Sector Scheme of Scholarship for College and University Students’, operated by the Ministry of Human Resource Development, Government of India are advised to register themselves for obtaining  their Aadhaar Number and  to have this number seeded with the bank account in which they are receiving the scholarship.  This would facilitate disbursement of the scholarship to them in future.
