Subject: Procedures for appointment on compassionate grounds.- reg.
Madam / Sir,
I am directed to refer to this office letter no. 17-1/2022-SPG-II dated 23.03.2022 circulating therewith Scheme of Compassionate appointment- Review of relative Merit Points and procedure for selection.
2. The present Relative Merit Point System (RMPS), circulated vide aforesaid letter no. 17-1/2022-SPG-II dated 23.03.2022 is presently being reviewed and accordingly it has been decided that applications from the applicants for consideration of appointment on compassionate grounds should not be received w.e.f 01.07.2024 till further orders.
3. The new RMPS, duly revised, shall be applicable for the vacancy year 2024 and onwards. All the CRCs in the Circle till the vacancy year 2023 would be convened as per the existing RMPS circulated vide letter no. 17-1/2022-SPG-II dated 23.03.2022.
4. Circles shall circulate this to all offices under their administrative control for dealing with requests / applications seeking appointment on compassionate grounds.
5. This issues with the approval of the Director General Postal Services.
