Will the Minister of HEALTH AND FAMILY WELFARE be pleased to state:
(a) whether the Government has taken note of the fact that some hospitals/CGHS dispensaries/ empanelled hospitals are not providing proper treatment along with showing negligence and avoiding CGHS beneficiaries, especially the pensioners and their family members and dependent beneficiaries and if so, the details thereof;
(b) whether the Government has received complaints in this regard and if so, necessary steps/ action taken since 1999 till date, State/UT-wise;
(c) whether the Government refunds/adjusts the one-time payment made by the family pension holder for availing CGHS facility on demise of his/her spouse in harness, who after sometime gets Government job and becomes eligible for CGHS benefits; and
(d) if so, the details thereof?

(a) to (d): As per records, complaints are received against empanelled Health Care Organizations (HCOs). The details of action taken against such HCOs is annexed.
Instructions for refund of subscription, after deducting an amount for the period for which CGHS card was utilized as family pensioner, have been issued vide Office Memorandum No. S.11012/1/2016-CGHS(P) dated 19.09.2016.
