Central Government Employees Bonus announced
Ministry of Finance, Government of India has announced ad-hoc bonus of up to Rs 3,500 to Group C and D central government employees and personnel of the armed and para military forces.
As per Office Memorandum No: 7/24/2007/E III (A) dated 13.09.2011 issued by Department of Expenditure, this non-productivity linked bonus will be calculated to the extent of 30 days emoluments for the financial year 2010-11 to the central government employees (Group C and D).
The maximum limit of amount of bonus will be Rs 3,500. The bonus will also be given to all non-gazetted employees in Group B, who are not covered by any productivity- linked bonus scheme.
The payment will also be admissible to the central Police and para-military personnel and personnel of armed forces.
Employees of the Union Territory Administration, which follows the central government pattern of emoluments and not covered by any other bonus or ex-gratia scheme would also be eligible for this ad-hoc bonus.
The expenditure incurred on this account will be debitable to the respective heads to which the pay and allowances of these employees are debited.
