CAPF consist of Central Reserve Police Force (CRPF), Border Security Force (BSF), Indo Tibetan Border Police (ITBP), Central Industrial Security Force (CISF), Sashastra Seema Bal (SSB) and Assam Rifles
On a broader note, it is estimated that retired military officers will get a pension hike ranging from Rs 8,000 to Rs 22,000 per month, while jawans and junior commissioned officers will get OROP benefit of around Rs 2,200 to Rs 9,000.
One Rank One Pension Scheme for Ex-Servicemen which has been kept pending for more than forty years, would involve Rs. 8K crore to Rs. 10K crore
The lowest-ranking retired jawans, widows and the disabled are likely to accrue the maximum benefit from the announcement. Widows and ex-servicemen over 70 are likely to be paid first. With the current proposal, jawans will get a pension hike of at least 3,500 to 4,500 a month
The Government still sticks to their stand that the pension would be revised every five years, and the Veterans, still hold their Gun demanding a revision every year or atleast every two years.
After Revision of pre-2006 Defence Pension, anomaly in pension between Army Officers retired in higher rank and officers retired in lower rank was rectified to some extent as pension is based on rank now. Now this revision is effective from 1st January 2006

As per Ministry of Finance OM No. 19046/2/2008-E-IV dated 22.04.2015 Central Government Employees are not entitled LTC claim for Premium Train Fare. In such cases LTC will be restricted to normal fare for entitled class of train travel
