Finance Ministry has updated the Instructions for processing foreign visits of officers of the Government of India for approval of Screening Committee of Secretaries (SCoS). Ministries/Departments shall upload the data related to foreign visits on the online Foreign Visit Management System (FVMS).Quarterly Rolling Plan (QRP) of proposed programmes/ visits for the next 3 months, etc
Department of Personnel and Training has exempted transfer of employees who are taking care of disabled dependents. DoPT in this OM defines the word ‘disabled’ which includes (i) blindness or low vision (ii) hearing impairment (iii) locomotor disability or cerebral palsy (iv) leprosy cured (v) mental retardation (vi) mental illness (vii) multiple disabilities and (viii) autism.
Railway Board issued Circular on Relaxation in medical examination for the candidates proposed to be appointed in railway by way of compassionate ground / land loser case. Appointment will be examined as per laid down yardstick for the post against which the candidate is being considered for appointment

DOPT clarifies that from 01.01.2016 there wouldn’t be any interview for the posts of Group ‘C’, and non-gazetted posts of Group ‘B’ Category in Central Government Service. Skill Test or Physical Test is different from Interview, and they may continue. However, these tests will only be of qualifying nature. Assessment will not be done on the basis of marks for such tests
