The Ministry of Mines is seeking applications for the positions of Senior Legal Assistant and Junior Legal Assistant on a contract basis, initially for a period of one year, extendable up to three years based on performance. Details are as follows:

Eligibility Criteria:
- Educational Qualification:
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Law from a recognized university or institute, duly recognized by the Bar Council of India.
- Must be qualified to be registered as an advocate under the Bar Council of India as per the Advocates Act, 1961.
- Experience:
- Minimum 5-7 years of post-qualification experience for Junior Legal Assistant.
- Above 7 years of experience in government departments, PSUs, or High Courts/Supreme Court for Senior Legal Assistant.
- Skills:
- Experience in legal matters and handling court matters in government departments.
- Strong communication skills, both written and oral.
- Proficiency in MS Word, MS Excel, and PowerPoint.
Age Limit:
- Not more than 45 years as of the closing date of the advertisement.
