DRDO CEPTAM-11 Recruitment 2025: STA-B & Technician-A Vacancies Announced

The Defence Research & Development Organisation (DRDO), under the Ministry of Defence, has issued its CEPTAM-11 recruitment notification inviting online applications for Senior Technical Assistant-B (STA-B) and Technician-A (Tech-A) posts under the DRDO Technical Cadre (DRTC).

A total of 561 vacancies for STA-B and 203 vacancies for Technician-A have been notified across various disciplines. Candidates will be posted at DRDO laboratories and establishments located across the country.

Pay Scale

STA-B: Level-6 (₹35,400–1,12,400)
Technician-A: Level-2 (₹19,900–63,200)

Educational Requirement (General Summary)

STA-B: Requires Diploma or B.Sc. in the relevant discipline.
Technician-A: Requires 10th Class + ITI in the relevant trade.

(Higher technical qualifications such as B.Tech/M.Tech are not considered for eligibility.)

Age Limit

18 to 28 years as on 01 January 2026
Age relaxations applicable as per Government of India rules.

Selection Process

STA-B:
- Tier-I (CBT Screening)
- Tier-II (CBT Subject Test)
Technician-A:
- Tier-I (CBT Screening)
- Tier-II (CBT Subject Test)
- Trade Test (Qualifying)

Application Fee

STA-B:
- UR/OBC/EWS/MSP – ₹250 + refundable ₹500
- Women/SC/ST/PwBD/Ex-servicemen – ₹500 (refundable, no base fee)
Technician-A:
- UR/OBC/EWS/MSP – ₹100 + refundable ₹500
- Women/SC/ST/PwBD/Ex-servicemen – ₹500

(Refundable portion is returned only to candidates who appear for Tier-I.)
