Production of Original documents for PAN Allotment kept in abeyance – Earlier circular dated 16.01.2014 put on hold

Government Decides to Keep in Abeyance the Decision to Change the Procedure for Pan Allotment Till Further Orders

The Central Board of Direct Taxes (CBDT) has decided to keep in abeyance the decision to change the procedure for PAN allotment till further orders. Accordingly, the operation of Circular No. 11 dated 16.01.2014 issued to PAN service providers has been directed to be put on hold till further orders. In the meantime, the old procedure of PANapplication and allotment shall continue.

सरकार ने पैन आबंटन की प्रक्रिया में बदलाव के निर्णय को अगले आदेशों तक स्‍थगित रखने का फैसला किया

केन्‍द्रीय प्रत्‍यक्ष कर बोर्ड (सीबीडीटी) ने पैन आबंटन की प्रक्रिया में बदलाव के निर्णय को अगले आदेशों तक स्‍थगित रखने का फैसला किया है। इसके अनुरूप, पैन सेवा प्रदाताओं को जारी किये गये 16 जनवरी, 2014 की परिपत्र संख्‍या-11 के अनुसार निर्देशित संचालन को अगले आदेशों तक रोक दिया गया है। इस बीच, पैन आवेदन और आबंटन की पुरानी प्रक्रिया जारी रहेगी।
