Revision of Special and Cash Handling Allowance
DOPT has been receiving references regarding revision of Special allowance and Cash Handling Allowance subsequent to increase in the rate of DA @ 51% with effect from 1.1.2011.
This Department's O.M No:4/6/2008-Estt.(Pay II) dated 1st October, 2008 states that the rates of Special Allowance and Cash Handling Allowance will be automatically increased by 25% every time the dearness allowance payble on revised pay scales goes up by 50%
Consequently the cash handling allowance will be revised as follows:

| Over Rs. 5,00,000 and up to Rs. 10,00,000 | Rs.500 | Rs.625 |
| Over Rs. 10,00,000 | Rs.600 | Rs.750 |

I think all the allowances would be enhance without any separate order.
sir, these enhancement is also applicable to Advance Increment which granted equivalent to on increment for acquiring Shorthand Speed 100 wpm and 120 wpm. He availed at present Rs. 400/- per month as special pay / advance increment.
Please guide me.
