Sub.: Promotions to Group ‘B’ posts on Indian Railways through Centralized Computer Based Objective Type examination (CBT) – Special drive to fill up the vacancies.

Ref.: Board’s letter No. E(GP)2022/2/4 dated 14.12.2023, 19.02.2024, 29.02.2024 & 6.3.2024.

Further to Board’s letters under reference on the above mentioned subject, it is advised that the 30% LDCE through Centralized CBT under the special Group ‘B’ selection drive shall be conducted by NAIR, tentatively on 23rd June, 2024.

2. To ensure smooth conduct of the examination, a Model Calendar has been prepared and enclosed as Annexure – I. The time frame given in the said Calendar may please be adhered to for timely conduct of the examination.

Further to Board’s letter of even number dated 19.02.2024 under reference, it is advised that the 70% Selection through Centralized CBT, under the Special Gr. ‘B’ Selection drive to fill up the Gazetted vacancies prevailing on the Railways, shall now be conducted by NAIR on 17th March, 2024.

2. Accordingly, a Model calendar for examination is attached as Annexure -I. The same may please be adhered to.
