Sub: Issue of uniform and other accessories to Trackmen, Keymen, Mates and Patrolmen.
Ref: Board’s letter No. E(W)95UNI-19 dated 27.12.2005

In order to meet requirement of Trackmen, Keymen, Mates and Patrolmen, an instruction as per above reference was issued to Railways regarding supply of uniform and other protective equipment/accessories. AS per item at S.No.11, water bottle with the following specifications was issued:

“Milton type bottle of 2 litres having proper heat insulation so that water can be kept cool for 5-6 hours”

Considering the intense heat wave and in the interest of staff working on Railway track, the above instruction is reiterated to ensure its compliance.
